Cousins

Nolan is fast approaching 8 weeks old and we finally had a chance to get some photos of the cousins together.

Xander was so excited to snuggle up next to his cousin. He's in love with this baby. He keeps telling everyone 'my baby' - Aunt Sarah, however, is pretty sure it's her baby.

Wide eyed and at peace.

Sleeping in Grandma's arms. This is the only time Xander is having trouble with the new baby - he is sure to tell everyone that it is 'my grandma!' or 'my mommy' whenever one of us snuggles Nolan. With a sister coming in the summer he will have to get accustom to sharing his family!

Happy Birthday!

Xander celebrated his 2nd birthday Sunday - he's getting to be such a big boy!

His favorite thing right now is a BIKE BIKE! So of course that's what Mommy and Daddy got him. Now we're working on the concept of peddling.

He was also excited about these awesome trucks from Grandma and Paw Paw. They make a ton of great noises and drive around.

It only took 3 grown men with screwdrivers 15 minutes to get them out of the boxes - I love the way kids toys are packaged!

Xander was a big fan of the icing this year. He stuck his finger in it before blowing out the candles, then licked all the icing off his piece of cake and even cleaned off the candles.

Nolan looked so handsome in his little polo for the party.

We even got some photos of the boys together finally - coming soon!

Thanks to everyone who joined us to celebrate - Happy Birthday Xander!

Simple Pleasures

After being sick for a few weeks, there is nothing more fun than being allowed outside to jump in a soapy puddle.

We are so glad Xander is feeling better!

From the Archives

With Spring in the air I was looking through some Spring sessions from last year and came across the photos from my session with Caitlyn - she was so precious!

Caitlyn's great-grandma had made this dress for her mom when she was a toddler - these photos were a surprise for great-grandma.

We spent a beautiful afternoon in Tanglewood park.

Loved those bare feet!

Caitlyn is such a sweet little lady!

Looking forward to this year's Spring sessions!

Spring Morning

Without the dreary sky and rain, this was a much better spring morning!
