barnhardt: family

Last week I spent a beautiful Fall afternoon with the Barnhardt family. Suzanne, Todd, Jake and Charlie met me at Tanglewood Park to take advantage of a perfect evening after being rained out on Sunday. The love in this family was obvious from the moment we started and it was a joy to spend time with them.






Jake is in middle school...



...and Charlie is in second grade.



They were as excited about spending an hour taking photos as 2 boys can be but we might have had a little fun along the way...in spite of spiders and yellow jackets.

life: teagan - 1 year

A few weekends ago I got to spend some time with Teagan to document the milestone of turning 1. You might remember Teagan and his brother Cadon from their Christmas session last year. He has grown so much since then and is such a happy little man.



He loved his trucks!







Big brother Cadon was also having fun outside. It was a beautiful afternoon.

Last weekend I joined the Sparks family again to photograph Teagan's 1st birthday party - post coming soon!

Sunday I got to spend a few hours with Trina, Sean and Little Guy. Trina and Sean are celebrating their 10th anniversary on October 23rd and we spent a perfect afternoon at Old Salem to celebrate.



The more time I spend shooting the more I realize that not only do I love photography but I love people - and I really love people who are in love. It's so much fun to be part of a couple's relationship for a few hours and document the affection, fun and love between them.
